Please join Jeff for a FREE Virtual Meditation and Discussion on “Stalking Ourselves” on Tuesday evening, April 21st, 2020 at 7:00 PM PST/10:00 PM EST.
In my view, one aspect of the practice of “stalking”, which I first became aware of from the Carlos Castaneda books, has to do with stabilizing the “position of the assemblage point”, a recognizable particular focus of perception. Thus, perception will change for us according to “shifts” in the point of assemblage.
We will discuss how to utilize “stalking”, such as becoming a “mystery to ourselves”, which can free up a lot of energy and be an important driver in going beyond descriptions, stopping the internal dialogue and realizing more that “we are nothing in particular”, as Dr. Frederick Lenz (Rama) has mentioned.
I have a particular role that I play in the class, which helps facilitate a type of “shaped” energy (that has a noticeable “whirl” to it) impacting each participant in the class, in order to draw us deeper into reality, and is something I personally look forward to engage with. Together, our possible role in the class is to stay centered and calm, make ourselves available to “power”, contribute to the discussion period and to have as much fun as possible.
Also, there will be two meditation sessions with music played by Zazen. The class will be participatory and experiential and geared toward supporting participants in feeling a more richly textured dimensionality.
