MEDITATION: FOLDING THE MIND

I have noticed that a peculiar segment of people, including myself, have a type of inner drive that can be quite painful and extremely frustrating but also potentially quite rewarding.  To be honest, I feel this population of people don’t have much of a choice in how they respond to their drive for a type of exotic knowledge,  apprehension of vast planes of luminous light and corresponding workable balance in their lives.

Somehow, they must go ever deeper in their meditations and pay more attention to such things as the hidden, which is behind the apparent appearances of life, in order to fulfill that higher passion, also in a balanced and fun way.

Please check out “American Buddhist Rebel” by Liz Lewinson. I feel she did an astounding job of describing a very unusual Teacher who transformed many people in indescribable ways, while facing tremendous obstacles.

One position of the assemblage point that we may be somewhat familiar with is the “place of no pity.” By engaging on this topic, we will initiate a discussion on what Don Juan Matus has conveyed to Carlos Castaneda as expressed in “The Wheel of Time” that “… we are blind to the most crucial piece of knowledge available to a human being: the existence of the assemblage point and the fact that it can move.”

I feel this type of knowledge can help us greatly when facing extreme challenges, whether in the business world, relationships or when in competition in the dojo.

Also, there will be two meditation sessions with Zazen music. The class will be participatory and experiential and geared toward supporting participants in feeling a more richly textured dimensionality.

Find Out For Yourself! Apparently, there are many types of hierarchies in our world with many well meaning and the structures can be helpful. But the spirit seeks to go beyond all bonds and has a unique expression that is wonderful to behold.

I feel that self-effort is very key in going deeper into reality as well as cultivating confidence in our self and trusting our self. Always good to have friends in high places that are supportive but it is also very wise to work on balancing all aspects of our lives and generate a positive intent and passion for perceiving the higher awareness fields.
