Meditation: Tapping Into ‘Power Spots’

Free Access To The “Canyons Of Light” Music At RamaTalks.com

Below is a small excerpt of some thoughts on meditation that leverages the power from fantastic power spots, as mentioned in the new adventurous book, “Folding The Mind: Unique Discoveries We All Can Make Into Deeper Reality Naturally.” Folding The Mind – Link To Amazon Page

“An amazing way to tap into the distinctive power of fourteen wonderful power places is via formally meditating using the “Canyons of Light” album music (see the link above).  There are a total of fifteen tracks with the first fourteen tracks corresponding to each power spot, such as Monument Valley and the Grand Canyon.  The last track is not specific to a single place.  Many times, I meditate late in the evening or early morning and enjoy staying very focused, as well as accessing the unique type of power present that is associated with each of these power spots.  Since the music is empowered by the higher aura associated with Dr. Frederick Lenz (Rama), we can gain a type of magical connection to these amazing places and the corresponding  dimensionality in each place.  This helps keep our mind refreshed with very subtle energy and strengthens our subtle physical body capabilities in progressively going deeper into higher awareness, which can feel ecstatic and is quite refreshing when we wake up in the morning”.

Soon, I will be creating a section on the site on ways to meditate, such as meditating to the “Enlightenment” music for the morning and the “Canyons Of Light” music for the evening.

Enjoy yourself!

Meditation & Mindfulness: New Adventurous Book On Ways To Make Exciting Inner Discoveries

The incremental discoveries we make each day in expanding our awareness has a cumulative effect on us.  When we are gaining energy in each of our activities during the day and night, this energy can be stored and utilized to increase our ability to peer deeply into the inner layers of reality.

Some ways to increase our energy is by spending some time in a power spot and getting more proficient at slowing down or stopping thought via meditation practice, which creates an increasing stillness within our mind. This creates an opening to access a strong flow of kundalini energy, which is of the nature of awareness itself.  Another key is mindfulness practice, which engenders alertness and a fuller awareness of every moment of our lives.

There are many approaches to self-discovery and I am a big proponent of direct experience, where we find out for ourselves what-is-what in regard to reality.  I have experienced many years of a fantastic type of connection to the unusual teacher, Dr. Frederick Lenz (Rama), which continues to this day. He was highly pivotal in my gaining a very deep experience and understanding of deep aspects of our own vast inner nature. Primarily, there is mention of my interpretation of what was learned by many interactions with Rama in powerful settings, as well as with other teachers and types of knowledge.

Folding the mind is a wonderful occurrence, something totally unexpected and beyond our control, but it becomes increasingly more possible as we continue to make incremental steps every moment in our lives, twenty-four hours a day.  Self-effort is key as well as a modicum of grace that we might come across in our adventure of life.  As mentioned in this book, just ride that wave of infinite awareness and keep on getting back on your board when falling off of it.

Meditation Knowledge: “Rama Speaks – The Teachings of Rama – Dr. Frederick Lenz” By Lawrence Borok

This book makes much more accessible a very unusual teacher, Dr. Frederick Lenz (Rama). Rama said he was fully enlightened in the traditional Buddhist definition, and it is fascinating to see how he taught specific methods in order to reach that state. The author’s emphasis on meditation throughout the book mirrors Rama’s own, which makes this popular subject approachable in many new ways. The opening of the book presents an updated version of the classic ‘Six Worlds’ Buddhist model that sets a sweeping context and tone. This makes it easier for me to consider the vastness of what I may be composed of. It motivates me to go deeper into my inner nature.

I was especially drawn to feeling the subtle energies of the actual words of Rama that are presented in each chapter. Lawrence Borok’s comments act as a guide layered on top of a very large body of knowledge. The combined effect is like riding a powerful ocean wave.

So, this meticulously rendered book has turned into quite an adventure for me. I will add further thoughts to this review as I go deeper into the book, but for now, I wish to relay my enthusiasm about entering into this bright new world. It is a clearly structured conveyance of an unusually energetic knowledge by an author with direct experience of this remarkable teacher.

Now that I have finished reading this book I can feel more of how the author has humbly weaved in his comments. They highlight very deep understandings that are then substantiated and clarified by Rama’s dialog following it. Thus, I am more drawn to immersing myself in the understandings without feeling threatened in any way. The simplicity and power of this pattern is prevalent throughout the book so that I walk away with a visceral feel for how perception expands via meditation and mindfulness practice. I cannot say enough about the understated way ancient knowledge (in a modern context) is presented in this book and the ever present opportunity to immerse ourselves in its endless wonder.

Virtual Meditation: Ideas On Addressing Our ‘Samskaras’

Please join Jeff for a FREE Virtual Meditation and Discussion about “Ideas On Addressing Our ‘Samskaras'” on Tuesday evening, February 23rd, 2021 at 7:00 PM PDT/10:00 PM EDT.

I feel we can ultimately thank our detractors and adversaries, if you happen to have some, for highly motivating us to stay very focused on going deeper into our meditations, instead of losing our energy by being upset or angry.  It is in deeper meditation where we can access much more Kundalini energy and corresponding ‘insights’ that shed light on our inner ‘patterns’ that appear to be a large part of our conditioning and integral to our actions.  Ultimately, our adversaries may be doing us a big favor, because to be non-attached (in a positive sense) from strongly embedded ‘patterns’ is not necessarily easy to do and sometimes does call for extraordinary measures.

Mainly, this class will be a chance for us to get together and express ourselves in the discussion session and to have fun and powerful meditations as well as to feel as much ‘stillness’ as possible.  Going beyond our thoughts and descriptions, even for a few moments, is one of the central themes of these classes, as ‘openings’ to inner reality become progressively more perceptible.

Also, there will be two meditation sessions with music played by Zazen.  The class will be participatory and experiential and geared toward supporting participants in feeling a more richly textured dimensionality.
